premiere pro video
premiere pro not only decided to close down on me and resulted in me losing my video which i finished editing, but deleted the video file from my memory stick that i've had plugged in of my eye ball stop motion animation :S all drawings will be included in my sketch book for hand in but i can't even explain how angry I am now, all animation suites in the studio are taken as well so i'm unable to retrieve the only other copy of my eyeball video today, as it is not saved on my laptop at home because it is broken atm and need resetting to factory mode which i'm unable to do until i can retrieve my hard drive from my parents house. I clearly don't work well with technology. -__- so here is video of my animation that i've edited so far but missing the eye ball footage even though you can see exists on my timeline..

After Effects tutorials
Been trying to research into what is actually possible in after effects and Came across some cool tutorials on youtube for cool simple effects, it still hasn't sparks many ideas to mind about what I should do but i'm hoping by continuing this process I might come across something soon...
The wiggly funky text is quite cute and fun and might be a possibilty for my credits or a title sequence at the beginning, all depends where I go with it really.

Pinterest Finds
Lots of interesting pieces of art I've come across while browsing Pinterest... searched for 'identity' and 'Artwork' , Pinterest is one of my favourite places find so many beautiful and intriguing pieces of work, probably the best on the internet for it.
Toilet Paper Animation
Not what i'm wanting to do, but came across it on youtube and thought it was pretty good/funny so worth a post on my blog for others to see haha good example of drawing/stop motion animation :)

Target Animation
just found this now and it's almost exactly the same as my storyboarded ideas, except uses actual people (Children). and it's not as messed up or crazy as mine haha but yeah thought this was interesting and funny to come across, love my idea though of the girl floating up to the stars and moon, maybe even planets, and than fallnig into the ocean, common universal themes in dreams flying and water, which is what I like to try keep my animation based around my original idea to create a film that the audience could potential relate with e.g flying in a dream.

Dream Animation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olWFUxXhtnQ
Found this animationa and love it, along the lines with the stop motion of what I would like to do, just tricky making the girl character because wanted to use still photos of humans instead of drawings because I'm not very great at drawing people, unless I can find a simple image of a girl to recreate or literally almost do exactly the same as this person and make a formed being character that represents a person... Will have a think into this

Clock Stop Motion Animation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-623xp4YRw- For my 30 second animation I would like to do something similiar along the lines of this, but not as simple I would use a range of pace to make it more visually interesting and confusing for the audience to watch. Would want to recreate the sense of lose of time while asleep. You don't feel time moving when you sleep so I think it's an interesting concept to follow through for my project.

Sia Music Video Inspiration
two of Sia music videos i've come across and really like, interesting animation and visuals :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhW1Spd4GlE < I like in Buttons the idea of the celotape and tights over her face , almost like a mask. when I have dreams one of the things that happens alot is faceless people, and blurred faces so this might be an interesting path to go down :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHdcPlfwmkg < Sia -Changes, probably just one of the best music videos i've seen in a while. Love the stop motion of the video, enjoy!

Dream Research
Reading a blog post today about top 10 facts about dreams >
"10. Many Dreams Are Universal
While dreams are often heavily influenced by our personal experiences, researchers have found that certain themes are very common across different cultures. For example, people from all over the world frequently dream about being chased, being attacked or falling. Other common dream experiences include school events, feeling frozen and unable to move, arriving late, flying and being naked in public."
^^
This one had me thinking about my plan for my animation. Just with the main objective is to create a piece related to Identity, since it's 'Universal' the examples used of dreams seen frequently all over the world, maybe I should incorporate these into the narrative of my animation, it seems like a good steering point for now since I'm struggling to think of a narrative and the documentation of my own dreams isn't going as exciting as I hoped for. I'm still going to continue documenting my dreams though and create a small booklet to go with my Sketch book, to see how it turns out at the end of this project to reflect upon.
Artist Research; Sebastian Eriksson
Came across this interesting Artist just randomly on the internet when searching 'Surrealism Art'. Really like these pieces of work, suit the dream theme of my project. Take a looksie :) http://www.outshoot.ru/posts/27751
